Congratulations to Matt Lyles (Coulson Oil Catamaran) and Leadership Greater Little Rock Limbo Leaders for capturing the 2006 Individual and Team Challenge Cups, respectively, at Wednesday's Awards Celebration Lunch. With more sales on the way, as of today, Friday, May 26, your Calypso Cup: 2006 Total Membership & Resource Campaign has raised an impressive $406,597.00.
While the competition for the Challenge Cup ended on Wednesday, crews have until noon, Friday, June 2nd to turn in membership checks and signed Product & Sponsorship Agreements, which will be commissioned and credited toward trip awards. As long as the signed Product & Sponsorship Agreement is turned in by the deadline, the Chamber will pay commissions when payment is received.
Sponsored by Lexi Strother, the Awards Celebration Lunch featured island cuisine from RSVP Catering and Tropical Smoothie Deli & Cafe. Campaign Stats
As of the close of the campaign, you sold 71 new memberships for $36,200.50. You also completed 14 membership reevaluations - 14 more than last year - for $14,044. That means that in this campaign, we beat last year's total new member income by $11,854.50.
So far, you have added $85,000 to the GOT STOCK IN LITTLE ROCK Economic Development Fund.
You raised $10,000 for the Building Fund.
You sold $11,485 in Business Advertising, besting last year's total by $2,760.00
In a brand new frontier, you sold $20,000 in Website Sponsorships, something we didn't even have to sell in the last campaign. And, you sold the Chamber's first-ever Enhanced Web Listing.
You sold $25,000 in Specialty Publications, beating last year by $13,500.
Finally, in Programs & Events, you sold $199,870, besting last year by a whopping $88,520. You also sold a total of 98 programs and events, far outdistancing last year's 61 by 37 sales.
Last year, the Building Fund accounted for $199,700. This year, other than a stairwell, there was very little left to sell. So, excluding the Building Fund from our totals, last year we raised $367,665. This year, excluding the Building Fund, as of Wednesday, you had raised $387.649.50, beating last year by $19,984.50.
While last year's campaign made a total of 209 individual sales, this year, you made 211. And among them, Ginny Moulton (Ambassadors Magic) made more individual sales (13) than any other participant.
By any measure, thanks to you and your business/organizations' commitment, your Calypso Cup continues to be a rousing success. Until the deadline next Friday, we'll continue to post updated spreadsheet results, so check back often. Meanwhile, thank you for serving the Little Rock region through your service to the Chamber.
