According to Southern Business & Development, the Little Rock region is among the “Top Ten Smaller Markets in the South for Foreign Investment,” with four major foreign advanced manufacturer locations since 2007.

Major foreign manufacturers in the region include:
●Dassault Falcon (France)
●LM Wind Power (Denmark)
●L’Oréal USA Products, Inc. (France)
●Saint-Gobain (France)
●Welspun (India)

Little Rock has the designation as Foreign Trade Zone – 14, with sub-zones located across Arkansas, and is a U.S. Customs Port of Entry for freight with customs officials on call.

Little Rock also is home to a Mexican Consulate – Consuldado de Carrera de México.
